Organic cotton certified "OCS"
We use organic cotton in our knitwear, certified by the "Organic Content Standard (OCS)", a voluntary international standard that defines the criteria for third-party certification and helps ensure the traceability of raw materials from farms certified according to recognized organic standards.
This standard is used to verify the origin of organically grown raw materials, ensuring complete traceability from the farm to the final product.
Recycled nylon
The InResST® recycled nylon we use in our fabrics comes from abandoned fishing nets recovered from deep-sea fishing operations. This material is both renewable and sustainable, and is manufactured in low-carbon factories with
considerable savings in terms of environmental impact.
Savings for each ton of InResST®
• CO2: 91% reduction (9 tonnes).
• Energy: 90% reduction (31,275 kWh).
• Water: 95% reduction (65.4 tonnes).
About plastic waste... Did you know?
Every year, more than 30 million tons of plastic waste are dumped worldwide, 20 million of which end up in the ocean via rivers. More than 80% of marine plastics are nylon, polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC and other non-biodegradable resins. Abandoned fishing nets, which take 600 to 800 years to decompose, account for a large portion of this pollution and kill many marine creatures.
